The Firm

Attorney Christopher C. Pennington decided to pursue a career in law early in high school, as he was champion debater by his sophomore year.  Mr. Pennington graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2003 and obtained his juris doctor in law from St. John’s University in Queens, New York.  Mr. Pennington is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and the State of Florida.  He is also admitted to practice in federal court, the Middle District of Florida.

In law school, Mr. Pennington clerked for the Law Office of Jeffrey S. Schwartz, a general practice civil firm.  There he worked on an appeal on a federal case which resulted in the federal district judge being reversed by the appellate court.  He also served as an intern in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office in the Homicide Trial and Grand Jury divisions.  After law school, Mr. Pennington worked for three years for the Office of the Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.  Mr. Pennington handled more than thirty jury trials, most of those being felony cases.  After the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Pennington continued to expand his legal knowledge by working in a private firm: Dorough, Calzada & Soto LLP.

Mr. Pennington has now launched his own full service law firm: PENNINGTON LAW, PLLC, focusing on criminal defense, family law, and mortgage foreclosure defense.  Whatever crisis you may experiencing, Mr. Pennington is here to offer zealous representation and defend your rights under the United States Constitution, Florida Constitution, federal law, and state law.
